2. What We Do with Your Data

We collect your information to connect you to our club and tackle you to a sober life—no bullshit, just action. We do this when you buy the Sober & Stoer Box, fill out your Buddycard, or use our site.

3. What Data We Tackle

When purchasing Box: Name, address, email, telephone number, payment details (€99 via Plug & Pay).

Via Buddycard: Name, place of residence, date of birth, top 3 challenges (body, head, life), personal worries/dreams (photos via WhatsApp).

On the Site: E-mail (community sign-up), IP address, browsing behaviour (cookies, only if you agree).

Why: To deliver your box, tackle your blueprint, and connect you to our gang—bad and simple.

4. Why We Do This (Legal Basis)

Agreement: You purchase the box—we need your address to ship, your email to connect.

Consent: Buddycard photos and community participation—you choose, we tackle.

Legitimate Interest: Marketing (cool updates), site improvement—no spam, just what works.

5. How We Protect Your Data

Rock-Solid Security: SSL on connectingsober.com (https), Plug & Pay GDPR-proof, WhatsApp encrypted—no hassle with hackers.

Storage: In the cloud (Mailchimp/Plug & Pay servers, EU), physical Buddycards in a safe at Hendrik's.

Admission: Only Hendrik and his crew—strict rules, no nonsense.

6. Who Gets Your Data?

Partners: PostNL (box delivery), Plug & Pay (payment), Mailchimp (emails)—tough guys who help out.

Community: Your name and concerns (if you share in the app)—you choose, we connect.

No Third Parties: We don’t sell anything—your info stays with our club.

7. How Long Do We Keep It?

Purchase: 7 years (tax law)—no hassle with the tax authorities.

Buddycard: 1 year after last contact, then we shred it—tough and clean.

Emails: Until you unsubscribe—you're the boss.

8. Your Rights (Tough Control)

View: Want to view your info? Email connect@connectingsober.com – arranged within 30 days.

Edit: Error? Let us know, we'll fix it.

Remove: Get rid of it? Say it, we'll dump what we can (except tax stuff).

Objection: Not happy about something? Say it—boldly and directly.

Complaint: Problems? The Dutch Data Protection Authority is ready—you choose.

9. Cookies (Tough Clicks)

What: We use cookies for site stats (Google Analytics) and socials (X, TikTok)—only if you say “yes”.

How: Popup on first visit—“Cookies? Yes/No.” No bullshit, your choice.

Goal: Make site better, share cool tackles—no nonsense.

2. What This Means

These terms and conditions apply to any use of connectingsober.com and any purchase of the Sober & Stoer Box or other services.

By purchasing or using our site, you agree—no nonsense, no hassle.

3. Buy the Sober & Stoer Box

Offer: The Sober & Stoer Box costs €99 including VAT, as listed on connectingsober.com/box. Prices are subject to change, but your deal will remain in place after ordering.

Order: You order via our payment page—payment upfront with iDEAL, credit card or Bancontact. Only after payment is the purchase complete.

Delivery: We deliver within 3-5 business days via PostNL to the address you provide. Shipping costs (€6.95) are included—no surprises.

Not good? You have 14 days to change your mind after receipt—return the box unopened (Dorpstraat 12, [City]), you pay return costs. Money back within 14 days after receipt.

4. What You Get

The box contains: Quitting Alcohol (Allen Carr, paperback), Buddycard (your blueprint), and access to digital training/community (3 months).

No guarantee of results—you tackle, we connect. Book and Buddycard are physical, digital stuff arrives via email within 24 hours of sign up.

5. Your Responsibility

Email: When purchasing, you give us your email—we collect it cool and safe (GDPR-proof). Fill in your Buddycard and send photos to 0610665777—you are the boss of what you share.

Usage: Do not abuse our site or community—no bullshit, no spam. We'll kick you out if you're disruptive.

6. Community Rules

After purchase you can sign up for “The Connecting Sober Experience” (group app/community). Respect the gang—no hate, no bullshit. Hendrik decides who stays.

Access is valid for 3 months after activation—after which you can renew (€10/month).

7. Liability

We do our best—the box comes as promised. But if PostNL fails or you lose the Buddycard, we will not tackle that. Maximum liability up to €99 per purchase.

No doctor's advice here—use your head, and when in doubt, consult a pro.

8. Intellectual Property

Everything on connectingsober.com (texts, videos, Blueprint) is Hendrik's—don't copy it, tackle your own problems. Personal use? Fine. Sharing? Not without us.

9. Tackling Complaints

Not happy? Email connect@connectingsober.com within 14 days of receipt—bold and direct. We’ll fix it within 14 days, or tell you why.

Dispute? Dutch law applies—court [fill in city] decides.

10. Changes

Hendrik can change these rules—check connectingsober.com/terms for the latest version. New purchase, new rules—no bullshit.
